Welcome to the Nelsonville, Ohio Police Department's Web Site. We here at the Police Department are proud to serve the citizens of Nelsonville. The Police Department is a 24-hour a day, 365 days a year operation, and consists of 7 full-time police officers, and 4 part-time officers. We are located at the City Municipal Building, 211 Lake Hope Dr.

Our community's involvement in crime prevention is one major goal of this department. Please be aware of your neighbor's homes and watch for any suspicious persons that don't belong there when your neighbors are away. Together we can watch over the safety and property of the citizens of Nelsonville.
